THE STORY
SAIGON... and we're back! Almost 21 days completed and this Vietnam trip has been extraordinary! From the new friendships I've made, I haven't made to the new iconic sites I have visited, to the unexpected adventures... I'm glad to be in Saigon. It's nighttime and the flight from Nha Trang was quick but luckily I checked into my AirBnB and ready to explore.
MORNING
There is so much food everywhere, this is heave! I see so many people sitting by local ladies and gentlemen cooking in street alleys and sitting on tiny chairs. I usually avoid breakfast to workout but I'm tempted to try the local dishes. I rush out I'm excited to call an on demand Grab or Gojek bike, and go explore.
HAIRCUT
While I'm on a the back seat of a motorbike driver we cruise through the heavy traffic and I finally found the haircut place my friend recommend. The service was fabulous recommended it and it costs about 3 USD.

LUNCH at SH Garden
The food was incredible in upscale neighborhood (SH Garden) in Saigon. B.A. and I ordered full spring rolls, river prawn with sour star fruit, veggies sautéed with garlic, a pork stew, and dried prawn strips.

TAN DINH CHURCH (The Pink Church / Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus)
Finally made it here about learning about its existence a few years ago. Regardless of your religious background, it's beautiful to take photos and donate to the upkeep of such a architectural gem. It's also quite quiet if you need to meditate and pray. Saigon can be quiet loud! More details of it's background and how to visit: vinpearl.com
DINNER at CO HUONG BEO BUN RIEU
Ever had balut and a massive mixed protein fest of noodles in your life?
Balut is called Hot vit lon/Trung vit long (Hột vịt lộn or Trứng vịt lộn) in Vietnam.
Well here's your chance to try!
We ate here: Co Huong Beo (Cô Hương Béo 19B Đ. Nguyễn Thị Minh Khai, P, Quận 1, Thành phố Hồ)

CHO BEN THANH (BEN THANH MARKET)
None of my local friends recommend shopping here because of the prices and the bartering needed but they have a lot of shops!
Definitely the night hang out for everyone and their bikes in the massive parking lot.

End the night at BUI VIEN WALKING STREET or a LOCAL BAR like FROLIC or THI BAR
Is wild! You must take a look. Dancers line the streets on various bars.
